At VPCI, to determine IB marks (i.e. 1 - 7) in Grade 12, we mark tests "regularly", IB labs by lab criteria and record raw mark. We then use the grade ranges from IB (Subject Specific) to determine their level (1-7). To convert this to a percentage, we use the IBSO Conversion Scale above.
This Mark Conversion is used by VPCI teachers for labs marked "IB Style" in Grades 9 - 11. All labs are then entered as scores out of 10.
